Triple play (VoIP, Data and IPTV) service configuration guide
“During our FTTH GPON projects configuration, there is a problem about how to assign triple play service for each PON subscribers.”
Step 1: FOT GPON OLT’s uplink configuration
In the Object Tree in NMS main interface, please choose the FOT GPON OLT core switch card (like HSWA uplink card), right click then choose the following path:
VLAN config -> Local VLAN -> Local End Service VLAN
Check the Internet service’s “Data” setting status in VLAN config.
Step 2: create new WAN connection internet service
Choose exact PON object you are going to configure, right click then choose the following path:
Config -> WAN Service
Add a new Internet wan connection as the following guide.
After the WAN connections created, (“WAN service” command succeed), you will see those parameters in the WAN connections information:
Click the right arrow (in NMS main interface), continue browsing the left WAN PPPOE connect parameters: LAN number port, SSID and tag VLAN mode etc.
Step 3: Create new WAN connections for IPTV function
Add a new WAN connections for IPTV function.
Detail IPTV WAN service setting please Check following information:
WAN_Mode: Other, WAN_Conn_type: Bridge, and WAN_Vlan_ID: 10 (for example) etc.
Click The right arrow (in NMS main interface), continue browsing the IPTV WAN connect parameters: LAN number port and Transparent VLAN mode etc.
Step 4: Assign IPTV VLAN on LAN4 port
How to config the VLAN of LAN4 port for IPTV service?
Choose the exact PON object you are going to configure, right click then choose the following path:
Config -> Service Config
In the “data port list” pool, please choose the LAN4 port.
In the service configuration, please make sure those parameters are right filled as captures above.
Step 5: Create new VoIP WAN connection
Login the ONT’s web portal system via the related LAN port.
In the “Network -> Internet” setting column, make sure those parameters are right filled, such as: Add WAN connection, Route, Vlan ID and Service Mode.
Step 6: Sip parameters configuration
In the “Application -> VoIP” setting column, make sure those sip server parameters are right filled, such as: Proxy server, Registering Server and Port Based Setting.
